New Recipes Spiced Okra - ★Cooking Recipes★

Bal Arneson does it again turning regular okra into a truely exotic dish with the addition of paneer and spice.
Directions for: Spiced Okra

Ingredients

2 Tbsp grape seed oil

1 small onion, chopped

cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 tsp ground turmeric

1 Tbsp coriander seeds, crushed in hand

1 tsp salt

1 lb(s) okra, washed and cut into bite sized pieces

1 cup paneer, cut into large dice

cup loosely packed cilantro

Directions

1. Place the oil in a large skillet on medium heat and then add the onion. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring regularly until golden, add tomato and cook for 2 to 3 minutes and then add the spices and salt to taste and continue to cook for 1 minute. Reduce the heat to medium. Stir in the okra and cook until it's tender, about 12 minutes. Sprinkle some salt to taste.

2. Stir in the paneer and cilantro and heat through.
