Ginger Margarita - ★Cooking Recipes★

Directions for: Ginger Margarita

Ingredients

1 fl. oz. lime Juice

1 fl. oz. Tequila

1 fl. oz. Triple Sec

1 Tbsp sugar, granulated (15 ml)

1 tsp fresh ginger, finely shredded (5 ml)

1 lime slice, for garnish

Coarse kosher salt, for the rim

Ice, crushed

Directions

1. Chill glasses in freezer for 15 minutes before using. Wet the rim of a margarita glass using a lime. Form a salt rim by placing the glass rim on top of a plate containing coarse kosher salt. Be careful not to put too much salt on the rim.

2. In a glass bowl combine lime juice and sugar and set aside until needed.

3. Carefully add ice into the glass without knocking any of the salt into the glass.

4. In a shaker, add some ice cubes and combine the tequila, lime juice/sugar mixture, Grand Marnier and ginger and shake until well blended. Strain the ice and pour the mixture into the salt-rimmed glass. Garnish with a slice of lime and serve.
