Directions for: Spicy Meatball Sandwiches, Coleslaw
Ingredients
Spicy Meatball Sandwiches1 tsp butter
1 tsp prepared garlic (minced in a jar)
1 cup ketchup
cup sweet chili sauce
cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp prepared mustard
2 tsp celery seed
tsp salt
6 thin slices lemon (1/2 lemon)
cup water
48 frozen meatballs
10 to12 hard rolls
10 to12 hot dog buns
1 medium sweet onion
Colewslaw1 pkg coleslaw mix
Coleslaw dressing
Directions
Spicy Meatball Sandwiches1. In stove-top pot melt butter at low heat.
2. Add garlic and let sizzle a few minutes.
3. Add in this order stirring as you add: ketchup, chili sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, celery seed, salt, lemon slices and water.
4. Bring mixture to a boil.
5. Stir in frozen meatballs.
6. Cover and cook over medium heat until heated through, about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally
7. Remove lemon slices.
8. Split rolls, hollow out bottoms and tops, leaving edges about inch thick.
9. Slice onions and separate into rings.
10. Serve hot meatball mixture in rolls.
11. Top with onion rings.
Colewslaw1. Pour dressing over coleslaw mix until consistency seems right.
