Shrimp Toast - ★Cooking Recipes★

A recipe is merely words on paper; a guideline, a starting point from which to improvise. It cannot pretend to replace the practiced hand and telling glance of a watchful cook. For that reason feel free to stir your own ideas into this dish. When you cook it once, it becomes yours, so personalize it a bit. Add more of an ingredient you like or less of something you dont like. Try substituting one ingredient for another. Remember words have no flavour, you have to add your own!
Directions for: Shrimp Toast

Ingredients

1 cup of shrimp, de-veined and shells removed

1 egg white

1 Tbsp of grated ginger

2 green onions, chopped

dash of soya sauce

1 Tbsp of Chinese black bean and garlic sauce

12 piece of square melba toast (or white bread toasted and crusts removed or any cracker)

6 shrimp, sliced in half

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Puree 1 cup of shrimp, egg white, ginger, green onions, soya sauce and black bean sauce in a food processor until smooth.

3. Spread shrimp mixture onto toasts and top with a halved shrimp.

4. Bake for 5 minutes, until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.
