New Recipes Fruit Salad with Mint - ★Cooking Recipes★

A recipe is merely words on paper; a guideline, a starting point from which to improvise. It cannot pretend to replace the practiced hand and telling glance of a watchful cook. For that reason feel free to stir your own ideas into this dish. When you cook it once, it becomes yours, so personalize it a bit. Add more of an ingredient you like or less of something you dont like. Try substituting one ingredient for another. Remember words have no flavour, you have to add your own!
Directions for: Fruit Salad with Mint

Ingredients

1 watermelon

1 red delicious apple, core removed and sliced

1 kiwifruit, peeled and sliced

12 strawberries, hulled and quartered

1 orange, segmented

1 mango, cubed

1 cup of fresh blueberries

1 cup of blackberries

1 cup of seedless grapes

1 bunch of fresh mint, sliced thinly

Directions

1. Cut watermelon in half and scoop out about 2-dozen balls from one half of the melon with a melon baller or teaspoon. Scoop out the flesh from the other half and reserve the melon to use as a salad bowl.

2. Toss all fruit together with the mint and spoon into the watermelon bowl.
