New Recipes Warm Scallop Salad - ★Cooking Recipes★

Directions for: Warm Scallop Salad

Ingredients

Scallops

1 Tbsp peanut oil (15 ml)

16 fresh scallops

2 green onions, chopped

2 Tbsp lime juice, fresh (30 ml)

1 Tbsp soy sauce (15 ml)

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 cup European salad greens (1 L)

1 large red pepper, seeded and cut into 1 inch strips

1 large yellow pepper, seeded and cut into 1 inch strips

1 large orange pepper, seeded and cut into 1 inch strips

Chili Sauce

cup mayonnaise (125 ml)

2 Tbsp lemon juice (30 ml)

2 tsp Tabasco sauce (10 ml)

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (5 ml)

1 tsp chili flakes (5 ml)

Scallops

1. In a glass bowl, add scallops and season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until needed.

2. In a large skillet add peanut oil and sear pepper strips until skin blisters. Add green onions and cook. Move peppers to a corner of the pan add lime juice, soy sauce and scallops and cook until they are still tender for about 4 minutes.

3. On a platter, place salad mix. Arrange pepper strips on top of the salad greens and scallops on top of the peppers. Pour hot juices from the pan on top of the salad and serve.

4. Serve with chili sauce.

Chili Sauce

1. In a glass bowl combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, Tabasco sauce, Worchestershire sauce, and chili flakes until well blended.
