You'll feel like a god when you eat this tasty burger with ingredients like succulent ground lamb, delicious sauteed red peppers and classic Greek staples like feta and tzatziki sauce.
Directions for: Olympus Burger's Athena Lamb Burger
Ingredients
Burger Patties2 lb(s) medium ground lamb
1 Tbsp salt
1 Tbsp garlic powder
2 Tbsp dried mint
cup lemon juice
Red Peppers2 red peppers, sliced 12-inch-thick
1 Tbsp dried parsley
Tbsp salt
Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
Assembly6 hamburger buns
1 head romaine lettuce
2 tomatoes, sliced
Crumbled feta
Tzatziki sauce
Salt
Directions
Burger Patties1. To make the lamb patties, stir together lamb, salt, garlic powder, mint, lemon juice, and 1 cup of water.
2. Mix by hand for 5 minutes to tenderize the meat.
3. Roll meat into 5 or 6 patties and flatten; set aside.
Red Peppers1. In a medium pan, stir and cook peppers, parsley, salt, garlic powder, and vegetable oil for about 5 minutes, until vegetables start to soften.
2. Remove from heat and set aside.
Assembly1. Preheat grill to 385F.
2. Cook burgers for about 3 minutes per side, until juices run clear.
3. Toast burger buns on the grill for about 2 minutes, or to desired crispness.
4. To assemble the burger, top the bottom half of the bun with lettuce, sliced tomato, crumbled feta, the lamb patty, the red pepper mixture, more feta, and tzatziki.
5. Add top half of the bun and serve.
