Directions for: BaconWrapped Hoisin-Ginger Salmon, Noodles and Peas
Ingredients
4 - 5 Boneless-Skinless Salmon Filets (Approximately 6 oz / 170 g Each)
8 - 10 Bacon Strips
tsp Mrs.Dash Original Seasoning Per Filet
cup Hoisin Sauce
cup Maple Syrup
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
2 Tbsp Ketchup
1 Tbsp Prepared Garlic (In a jar)
1 Tbsp Prepared Ginger (In a jar)
lb(s) Cantonese Noodles (medium size rice noodles is what is usually used) [340 gms]
4 cup Frozen Baby Peas
Directions
1. Take out equipment and ingredients.
2. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Spray a broiler pan with cooking spray.
3. Wash salmon under cold water and pat dry with paper towel.
4. Wrap each filet with 2 strips of bacon and secure with toothpicks. Add spice.
5. Fill a kettle with water and bring to a boil.
6. Combine hoisin sauce, maple syrup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ketchup, garlic, and ginger together in a small bowl.
7. Place salmon on broiler pan and cover with half the prepared sauce.
8. Place in preheated oven and set timer for 10 minutes.
9. Meanwhile: Place Rice noodles in large bowl. Pour boiling water over top of noodles. Set timer for 4 minutes
10. Rinse peas in colander. Place in microwave-safe pot or casserole. Cover and microwave at high for 3 minutes.
11. When noodles are ready, rinse, return to bowl and toss with a little sesame oil if you wish.
12. Remove salmon from oven and place on noodles and pour remaining sauce over top.
