Carrot Raisin Bran Cookies - ★Cooking Recipes★

Directions for: Carrot Raisin Bran Cookies

Ingredients

1 cup (375 ml) all-purpose flour

1 tsp (5 ml) ground cinnamon

tsp (2 ml) baking soda

tsp (1 ml) salt

cup (125 ml) soft (tub) margarine

cup (175 ml) firmly packed brown sugar

1 egg

2 Tbsp (25 ml) apple juice or water

1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract

1 cup (375 ml) grated carrots

1 cup (300 ml) All-Bran Buds* cereal

1 cup (250 ml) raisins

Directions

1. Stir together flour, cinnamon, soda and salt; set aside.

2. In large mixing bowl, cream together margarine and sugar until fluffy; beat in egg, juice and vanilla; mix in carrots. Stir in flour mixture, then cereal and raisins, until well combined.

3. Drop by rounded 15 ml measure (tablespoonful) about 5 cm (2") apart onto ungreased baking sheets.

4. Bake at 190C (375F) for 8-10 minutes, until light golden.
